About Me, My Life, and All the Other Craziness

I am a twenty-six year old woman living in Indianapolis, IN. My life is full of all sorts of crazy. Our household is made up of my bestfriend, Tina, her son, Hunter (3), my fiancé, Chris, and of course, me, Amber.

I graduated high school in 2006 at the age of seventeen. I went to university in Michigan for a year. I was in the psychology program for early childhood education. A bunch of bad events began to happen (blog post idea), and I decided to leave that university after my first year. I planned to move to Indianapolis and attend university there, but my plans fell through. I began working as a cashier at Hardees, and quickly became a manager. I hated it. So one day, I decided I needed more. I talked to an admission counselor, and got enrolled in another university. A little over two years later, I graduated with an Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. The same month I graduated, I interviewed with a great drafting company, and I got the job! I love it.

I met Chris online back in 2005-2006, when I was seventeen. He is 35, scandalous! He was living in Washington state, while I was preparing to head off to university. After a year of university, and all the crap that came with it, I decided to move to Indianapolis. Chris moved all the way from Washington to Indiana to be with me, what a trooper. He has some health problems, so he is not currently working, but he pampers me.

Chris
I met Tina in 2006 when we both enrolled into the psychology program at university. We became roommates during the second quarter of school, after falling out with our respective roommates at the time. In January of 2012 she gave birth to one of the most precious little boys I have ever met. He may not have been planned, but no one will ever call him an accident. The story goes like this; Tina was complaining of a pain in her lower right abdomen and, because I'm a nurse, not, I thought it was appendicitis. In my defense, I did talk to my mom and she said the same thing. Anyway, we took her to the hospital to have her looked at. Of course, they always do a pregnancy test when a woman comes in, it is procedure. While waiting in the exam room, the doctor comes in and says, "Congratulations, you are pregnant!" A round of shocked faces and many tears later, she gets an ultrasound to confirm. The rest is history.
